Capt. Sandro Maniaci was born and raised in Gloucester, MA so fishing was already running through his veins. There's nothing more he loves than to be out on the water chasing giant bluefin tuna.

From an early age he started off in local ponds and finally got his big break to hit the high seas. Capt. Sandro landed a job on the FV-Tuna.com and hasn't looked back since. With hundreds of tunas including multiple thousand pounders under his belt, he still itches for that next big bite. Capt. Sandro has made a name for himself through his hard work, dedication and ability to catch bluefin tunas. He is also the winner of the Bluefin Blowout Tournament with a fish that weighed in at 1,050. Capt. Sandro can be seen on National Geographic's hit series Wicked Tuna.
