Marcus Kennedy

Marcus was born in Biloxi, MS and is a lifelong resident of the North Gulf, currently living in Mobile, AL. He is an electrical engineer when not fishing and has a high-tech manufacturing business in Mobile. Marcus has been tournament fishing for over 35 years from Galveston, TX to Morehead City, NC. He currently fishes around 20 tournaments per year in his 36’ Yellowfin “Kwazar”. Specializing in king mackerel tournaments, but also fishing several billfish tournaments and multi-specie rodeos each year. Marcus has over 60 tournament wins and is a member of the SKA Hall of Fame. Team Kwazar holds many current and past world, state, and tournament records. Notable catches include a 780# blue marlin, 128# amberjack, 950# Tiger Shark, 65# king mackerel, 250# yellowfin tuna, 49# yellow edge grouper, 69# snowy grouper, and 35# red snapper - all caught south of the Alabama coast.
